A: I look forward to joining the Buffer crew, getting to know my new teammates and the dynamics of the different departments, joining all of the right Slack channels, helping ensure our customers have the best experience possible, and digging into the web, content, and marketing backlog with Kevan.
Meeting with various department and project leads to familiarize myself with the working ecosystem, technologies, tools, and systems that support Buffer's sites and beyond is a crucial foundation to lay, right from the start.
Promoting and continuing the ecosystems of team interaction and clear communication, continued cultural growth, scheduled check-ins and syncs, and making sure there are no blockers, are key. During my onboarding, I can't wait to see who my Buffer buddy will be. :-)
